Toy Drive To Benefit Respite Toybox
Respite Volunteer Call for Toys
Volunteer Miranda Green is coordinating a toy drive to benefit our Respite program. "Basically one Saturday a month we watch these children while their
parents have a chance to get things done or spend time with their other children
without the added task of caring for the child with special needs," she explains. The goal of the toy drive is to replace older toys with new, age appropriate games, books and puzzles. If you have children, or
know people with children who may be able to donate, please let them know. They are looking for board games, puzzles, things that light up or make noise, action figures and play dough, and monetary donations to The Arc. For more information, please contact Miranda or call 512.539.4484. Toys can be dropped off at 100 Farmers
Circle, Ste. 400, Austin, 78728, at the intersection of Farmers Circle and Louis Henna
Blvd.
