The Arc of the Capital Area, an Austin-based non-profit organization, is committed to promoting independence and choice by providing individualized services to thousands of adults and children with developmental disabilities for 60 years.
The goal of The Arc's 10th annual "Building Bridges" Art Celebration & Auction is to support families to keep their children with disabilities at home, in school and out of institutions. A portion of the proceeds will also fund the Arc of the Arts Studio & Gallery (6717 Burnet Road), which provides a creative, income producing, educational and social outlet for artists with disabilities. These artists also contribute 50 percent of the art on auction.

Selected works will be auctioned at the event Thursday, Oct. 15. Artist's names will appear in all the event's printed materials and also are invited to attend the "Meet & Greet" during the VIP reception, from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
Your
support is necessary for our success. All submissions will be juried by the Building Bridges
Art Committee.
