Greetings!

September introduces a new fall meal lineup - two great new meals and three new dips! And if that weren't exciting enough, we're happy to announce that we made the grade in two great publications this month - check out what they had to say about us below.

Our photo contest is in full swing with two months remaining. Have a great shot? Send it in!

Introducing Our Fall Lineup

New Flavors for Fall include Breakfast & Lunch Options

September brings a hint of cool weather to our Austin, TX offices ushering in  thoughts of cool evenings under the stars. And nothing goes better with a change in weather like a few new meals!

 Kickin' Chicken Hot Wings Wrap

Kickin' Chicken Hot Wings WrapOur Kickin' Chicken Hot Wings Wrap brings the spicy goodness of hot wings to the backcountry!

Ready in minutes with just a splash of cool water, this wrap makes a great trailside lunch or pre-dinner appetizer between friends. Spice it up with Texas Pete's Hot Sauce (included).

Santa Fe Breakfast Corn Pudding
Santa Fe Breakfast Corn Pudding
Our take on New Mexico-based comfort food, this southwestern savory "soufflé" is a blend of both ground and whole kernal corn, two cheeses New Mexico Hatch chile peppers and spices - with a little bit of sweetness thrown in for good measure. The prep is easy - just-add-hot-water - and the taste is sublime!

Pssst! Check out the sidebar for three more new additions to our menu.

Three Dips & a Pitcher of Margaritas - Perfect!

We often arrive at camp pleasantly tired and ready for a little evening relaxation.

So, before breaking out the tent, we like to pull up a stump and take a little break with some snacks and a cocktail!

Happy Hour Snack Pack

We've made three of our favorite dips into trail-ready packs:

- Pico de Gallo Salsa
- Queso Rico
- Chorizo Bean Dip

Pair that with a pitcher of margaritas a friend or two and you've got it made in the shade!

Wondering how to pack in chips? No worries - a tortilla and a little oil and you're all set!

To Make Your Own Camp Chips:

You will need:
  4 Flour Tortillas
  1 Oil pkt.

Cut Tortillas into chip size pieces at camp. You can also bring precut tortilla pieces that you've air dried at home.

Toast tortillas in small batches in a hot oil-drizzled pan. You will be able to toast four tortillas with one packet of oil (about 1T).

Sprinkle with a little salt if desired. Remove, cool and dip away!
