Preparing Eggs in Boilable Bags Brings an End to Dirty Dishes

Everyone loves eggs in the morning but scrubbing a frying pan after breakfast is no fun at all. We weren't willing to compromise on the flavor of our egg dishes by moving to lackluster just-add-water pre-cooked eggs but we found something just as good - boilable bags!

TexMex Breakfast TacoMix your migas or breakfast tacos in a boilable bag, submerge it in a pot of boiling water and, voilą - perfectly cooked eggs without the mess! Bonus - you can use the leftover hot water to make your morning cuppa joe.

Boilable bags are sold separately, but we have included instructions on each label for preparing eggs in a boilable bag.

We've been getting quite a few requests to offer our cheesecakes in a one-person serving . . . and we've listened to your feedback!

Our lemon cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake are now all available as single-serves!

How Much Water Is Needed to Rehydrate Dried and Powdered Foods?

When creating your own backcountry recipes, it's important to know just how much water it's going to take.

Too much and you'll end up with soupy vegetables; too little and your dehydrated meal won't fully rehydrate.

We've put together a comprehensive chart of all of our freeze-dried and dehydrated ingredients to help you determine just how much water you'll need!

This should help you in considering the cooking method that works well with your dish:

  • Cook-In Bag Meals
  • One-Pot Meals
