WOW the first half of 2012 is in the books.
Are you 50% of your 2012 goal?

Now is the perfect time to compare planned results with actual results for January through June.
When is your 2012 Six-Month Review Meeting?

Here's one format you can use for your 2012 Six-Month Review (click for template):

 

Talking points during your January-June review: 1) Reasons for any variance to plan; 2) Identify four Q2 Opportunities that you did not close; 3) Identify four Q2 Accomplishments.

During the 2012 Six Month Review you also want to re-visit your 2012 Back Half Plan. Use a similar matrix and insert:
  • 2012 Jul-Dec plan  
  • 2011 Jul-Dec Actual
  • 2012 Plan as % to 2011 Actual
  • Identify four Q3 Goals
  • Identify four 2012 back half initiatives  
Don't wait until October or November to compare your 2012 plan to results. In June, 50% of your 2012 plan is AWESOME. If you are less than 50%, you have SIX whole months to recover.
