Greetings!


As we approach Thanksgiving, signs of the season are all around us. Pumpkins smashed in the roads, grocers
'freezers overflowing with turkeys, juveniles driving dad's car through the leaves piled up on the street, and e-newsletters gushing with gratitude.

As Sales Kitchen wraps up 36 months of cooking up sales solutions, we are grateful for the support of our family, friends and colleagues. We are most grateful for our dozens of clients committed to improving their sales process.

 

For business owners and decision makers, these last weeks of 2011 are the most wonderful time of the year. 'Tis the accountability season; be sure to compare plan with actual results. Find out which of your sales reps are naughty or nice, and get rid of the bad ones.

 

It's also the season for 2012 planning. 6.5 Year End Sales Tips for Immediate Results 

 

Remember, there are only two ways to Heat Up Your Sales: 1) obtain new customers, and 2) get your current customers to buy more stuff.

1. Change up your selling tactics: 
Work more with "A" accounts instead of "B" and "C" accounts. Your competitors want your "A" accounts as new business. Your best accounts might be able to issue an extra PO or two if you just ask them.

2. Measure your results. Meet with an accountability partner once a week. Keep a scorecard of your weekly activity goals and results. Be tough on each other; if goals are not achieved, get explanations as to why, and create action steps to improve this week.
