Truth About Pills

Are you tired of taking prescription pills and vitamins?

According to the physician's desk reference, our bodies only absorb 10% of the beneficial medicine or nutrients from the pills we take and the rest is made up of toxic materials:  wax, glue, yeast, shellac, sugar, wood fiber, animal fat, talcum powder, and many others.

Many times, the whole unabsorbed pill comes out or is stuck in the colon.  Some ladies have to stop taking vitamins because their bodies became toxic due to the fillers that coat the pill; moreover, they have to undergo serious detoxification.  It is not the vitamin itself that is toxic, but the fillers that contain toxic materials.

Harming your Liver:

The liver's function is to control infections, remove toxins and bacteria from the blood, process nutrients and hormones, make proteins that regulate blood clotting, and produce bile to help absorb fats-including cholesterol-and fat-soluble vitamins.

Taking pills can harm your liver function to a point where the liver can no longer effectively replace damaged cells.

Herb of the Month: Red Raspberry

Red Raspberry is an herb traditionally used to support women and to promote healthy nails, bones, teeth and skin.

Red Raspberry provides a wealth of nutrients including valuable minerals and vitamins B1, B3, C, D and E.  It also contains calcium & iron in one of its most absorbable forms.  These are all nutrients which are very important during pregnancy.

Red Raspberry's astringent properties: relieving diarrhea, antiseptic properties for topically and internally treating sore throats and canker sores.

Healing Leafs:

A tea made from the leaves of raspberry has been used for centuries as a folk medicine to assist reproductive system, treat wounds, colic pain, upper respiratory disorders, and difficulties in childbirth.

A safe, commonly used herbal tonic for pregnancy is red raspberry leaf tea.  It can relieve almost any discomfort of pregnancy from morning sickness to leg cramps.  It has also been shown to strengthen & tone the uterine wall and help to make delivery easier and speedier by helping the uterus contract more efficiently and helps expel the placenta after.

The tea of these healing leafs can also be good for relieving painful menstrual cramps.

Brewed as a tea or an infusion, red raspberry leaf is one of the safest, commonly used herbs for women wanting to get pregnant or who are already pregnant.

Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) tones the uterus, improves contractions and decreases constipation.
