Herb of the Month: Lemon Balm
Uses: Influenza, Anxiety, Depression, Antibiotic, Anti-viral, Painful periods, Migraines, Tranquilizer, Heart tonic
Lemon balm is a highly aromatic plant that is easy to grow in your garden. Like many mints it has a variety of uses and is generally safe for all ages. It also tastes wonderful, making it an easy remedy to get down picky throats. Lemon balm's calming abilities are especially suited for tissues in an excited state such as hyperthyroidism. Because it is often used for hyperthyroidism, some caution those with a hypothyroid from using too much of it. If you're feeling overly stressed with a go-go-go-go mentality, a daily lemon balm infusion can help you to slow down and unwind.

Herbal Recipe of the Month: Lemon Balm Popsicles
Make a tea from fresh lemon balm.
Add honey to taste.
Pour into popsicle molds and place a popsicle stick in the middle of each mold.
Let freeze completely and enjoy.
Another variation is to place the lemon balm infusion into an ice cube tray. Then carefully place a small leaf of fresh lemon balm in each ice cube section. After these are frozen you can use these fancy ice cubes to further flavor iced tea. |

Welcome Back!
We are a little delayed with the newsletter this month as we have been very busy preparing for the new Permanent Makeup training classes. We hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather and had a happy Easter.
In this newsletter, we have included a quick introduction to the new Permanent Makeup School by Nalini. Click on the [pink] banner below to view more information. *COMING SOON* We are producing some detailed brochures and a new section of the website that will have complete information for the school. The following paragraph is very important to people who want permanent makeup appointments or want to take the classes:
AS OF APRIL 15TH, Permanent Makeup is $250.00 for eyeliner, eyebrows, OR lipliner procedures (Regularly priced at $400) Nalini is taking advance booking on anyone interested in taking Permanent Makeup (Intra-dermal Cosmetics) classes. They are 4-day classes for $3000.00. $500.00 off to the first 10 students. Classes will be very small for better training purposes. Nalini will be out of town to teach on April 22-April 26, so please make arrangements for appointments around those days.
We have also included our service, Airbrush Tanning, done by Rachel. There is also a promotion going on the Airbrush tanning mentioned in the coupon below. Rachel will be gone from April 9-April 20 if you need an appointment, please make arrangements around those dates. We carry self-tanning sun products as well. If needing to place any Scentsy orders, you can click on the Scentsy banner on the right to order online, or wait till she is back. Sorry for any inconvience.
Also, because Rachel will be gone for the next ten days, the salon may be locked during working hours while everyone has clients; moreover, we may not be able to take walk-ins. After a decade and 4,000 procedures later, due to many requests, Nalini has started to teach Intra-Dermal Cosmetics, or Permanent Makeup. Students will benefit from 15 years of quality experience. Students will have the option of receiving one-on-one training, or be included in small classes. Nalini is a Master Intra-Dermal Cosmetics technician.
She will be certifying in basics of Permanent Makeup including procedures such as eyeliner, eyebrows, and lip procedures; she will also be teaching and certifying permanent makeup technicians, in a separate class, to receive Masters training in Permanent Makeup, involving wet tissue, eyelash enhancement, blush, and much more.
