Remember the Titanic!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 14, 2012.  A special dinner/program is being planned by the Friends Of The Library and David McMacken to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster. "Remember The Titanic" will recall the famous White Star liner as it sailed on its maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York, striking an iceberg off of the Grand Banks, and sinking with a loss of over 1,500 persons. The Titanic story has fascinated, intrigued, and mystified the world. The Alma program will recall this event through food, costume and drama.  Tickets are on sale now but there are a limited number for this event. Ticket prices are $50.00 each, and Captain's Table tickets are $100.00 each (only 11 tickets available in this category). Guests are encouraged to dress in period clothing.
