Social Networking for Geo's
Greetings!
You can't help but notice the absolute explosion of social media and social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and others over the last few years and even months. I have seen a number of folks in Geology circles embrace this technology, but I haven't yet seen widespread us in the geotech and geoconstruction industries. To gauge how people are currently using the technology, and to see if there would be interest in a social networking aspect of GeoPrac, I have created a Social Media / Social Networking poll. If you have a few moments, I would definitely appreciate your input, no matter what your feelings are on these new technologies! I'll summarize the results of the poll in next month's newsletter, until then...enjoy some of the past month's highlights in this newsletter. Regards, Randy Post, Owner/Editor - GeoPrac.net
