We have lots of exciting items to update you on for September, but before we get to those HeadShot2 I want to ask you to please remember to fly our wonderful flag on September 11th in remembrance of the innocent Americans that were taken from us much too soon by acts of terrorism. Additionally, do not forget to reflect and pray for our men and women in the armed forces who are currently fighting to protect our freedoms and to rid the world of terrorism. Their sacrifice and those of their family members is why our country is the greatest.

As you know, my campaign team and I got an early start on the campaign trail because we knew it would be a tough road requiring much work in building name recognition and learning the political landscape of the 50th district. The hard work is beginning to bear fruit, this past week The Downey Patriot, a well respected local paper, ran an article highlighting the campaign and our platform of limited government and taxes, fiscal responsibility, and government accountability. But there is still much work ahead of us. We will continue to run a strong, fiscally efficient, strategic campaign on the strong principles mentioned, but we need your continued support. Bellflower Boulevard Car Show - Campaign Booth

The Vote for P.J. Mellana campaign will have a booth on Saturday, September 19 at the Bellflower Boulevard Car Show. The Car Show will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Bellflower Boulevard (Park Street to Flora Vista Street) in P.J.'s home town of Bellflower, CA. The event will feature vendors, live entertainment, food booths and an array of classic cars on display. Be sure to bring the entire family out for a night of fun and to "meet and greet" P.J. in person to show your support.
