Look for us in the Parade

The Friends of Independence are in the July 4th Independence Day Parade!  We are super excited as this is the first time in many, many years we have participated in the parade.

We will be marching with Park Staff, Park volunteers as well as our own volunteers.  We even built a life size Liberty Bell to represent our park and our efforts to be an eco-friendly "Green" urban park.  Below is a picture of our Liberty Bell.  If you are at the parade on the 4th, make sure you stay till the end and wave to us since we will definitely be waving to you.
