The clock is ticking with only 2 days left. The course it set and the swag bags are filled with your goodies. Below is some more important race information.
Only send ONE person to pick up your race bag at check in IF your team has done ALL of the following:
1. All members have paid for the race.
2. All members have either purchased a license from us or "already have one" (You must bring the "already have one" member cards with you to show race staff)
3. All members signed an online waiver.
I strongly encourage all racers to take care of the above items online before the race. It is a very simple and quick process, 1-2 minutes at most.

Otherwise any member who hasn't fulfilled all of the above requirements must come to check in and get in multiple lines. If you are one of these take 1 minute - click the link below and get it done.
12 Hour Boats
Boat drop will be at the bridge near the Stubble field camping area in Sam Houston National Forest. There is a map link below. You will see our orange cones and race volunteers. You can stage your pfd, paddles, and 3rd seats and leave them when you are finished. You can leave food and water here, but you must take anything left after the paddle back with you when you finish the paddle.
Sprint Boats
Boat drop will be at the boat house where the canoe rentals are. See map link below. Volunteers will show you where to place your boats. You can stage your pfd and paddles with your boats and leave them when you are finished. Rental boats will have an orange piece of tape hanging from it. You can not pre save a rental boat. When you get to the paddle leg you will be issued a pfd and paddle by a volunteer. From there pick a boat with orange flagging and off you go. There will be red buoys to mark the paddle course. Once complete return your boat to its original location. Renters must re check your paddles and pfd's back to the volunteer. If you bring your own paddle and PFD and have rented a canoe. You must bring it with you to the paddle leg and take it back when you are finished - you cannot leave it at the rental boats either before or after the paddle.
TA
There will be separate marked TA areas for the Sprint and 12 Hour racers. Look for the signs and/or ask traffic volunteers. You CAN NOT park on any grass surface - only park on pavement. There is plenty of parking some closer to TA than others. There will be an area in front of Sprint TA where you can temporarily park to unload your stuff, you must then go to a permanent parking spot until after the race. The timing table will be located near the sprint TA to start the race. After the Sprint race is over the Timing Table will be located in the Group Screened Shelter (GSS) for the remainder of the 12 hour race. Only 12 hour teams can TA and park around group GSS and its parking lot area.
Hydrate
It has been warm during the day, so stay hydrated to prevent cramping. It is suppose to be high 70's on race day.
