Greetings!  

Spring is typically associated with change and transition.  And so it is here at Barbaric Bean Coffee Roasters.  In the ensuing weeks, before the waves of humanity make their way through the hallowed gates of Ocean Grove, The Bean will be making changes as we transition into a "leaner, meaner" cafe.  OK, we really won't be meaner. 

In order to deal with the high volume of people that enter our joint in the summer months, particularly on weekends, we are converting our main dining room into a more efficient,  and ergonomically "to go" friendly area.  If you come and just want to hang out, there will be tables and chairs in the side room of our cafe.  The main dining room will have some cool new seating, as well as Counter Service.  So now you will order your food at the counter and we'll give you a number thing and try and "beat the clock" to get your food to you. There will still be wait staff for outside tables. You'll also notice changes to our menu.  We've slimmed it down, keeping all our crowd favorites, so we can get orders out hotter and faster.  There are other changes too but these are the main ones. Come on in and let us know how you like our new look.

There are lots of great events happening this month in OG, so get your calendars out and get ready for some fun in the Grove!  The "fun guy" and "boss" say to the season: "BRING IT ON BABY!!"
