Greetings!
To all of you who have taken the time to visit us at our hip cafe' in Ocean Grove, we cannot express our heartfelt gratitude for your love and support. We're still in our first year of business and our success is thanks to you!! This is our first newsletter and we wanted to keep you posted on all of the happenings at the Bean. So...here goes!!
PS: Oh yea, the term "bomb digity" was given to us by two of our waitresses, Stacy and Maria, and is a compliment. |

Coffee-the Perfect Holiday Gift! 
Why fret and froth about what to get that special family member of friend? If he or she loves coffee, then there's your answer. And when it comes to coffee, we do it best because we roast right on-site! You can pick up a pound or two at our cafe', or order online. We also do gift boxes filled with your choice of coffee, our travel or ceramic mugs, t-shirts or delicious biscotti. You can even give a coffee grinder to that loved one who wants to go to the next level in becoming a coffee afficionado!! If you're going to come to the cafe' for your gift coffee, call ahead and gives us your order so we can have it ready. If you're going to order online (and we ship all over the US), all orders must be received by December 17 to ensure it getting to its destination before Christmas.

House of Prayer RISING
Every Friday evening, from 7:00PM-9:00PM at The Ocean Grove Community Room on Pilgrim Pathway, Margie and Joe lead in a vibrant time of worship and interession at Ruwa House of Prayer. Obeying Jesus' words in Mark 11:, we focus our time together in the activities we believe draw God's presence and bring Him joy: worship and prayer. This is NOT like a typical church service; we do not pray very quietly or in order. Let's just say we're somewhat "out of the box", or maybe not what you're accustomed to. Come and check us out...or better yet, check out Jesus!

Saturday Night Coffee House:
The Joint is JUMPIN'!
The Barbaric Bean is the place to be this winter! Swim, fly, walk, bike or drive on down to Ocean Grove every Saturday night to get warmed up by the Bean's live musical acts! The Bean seeks to provide a truly relaxed coffee house atmosphere in this season of hustle and bustle. Warm up with a cup of "Joe," hot chocolate, hot apple cider, soup, chili, and other tasty treats like "Turtle Brownies", Cakes, biscotti, etc . Remember, when the weather is cold, our coffee--and music--are hot! The music starts at 7:00PM and ends about 10:00PM.
