New Foodpack Flavours

 

 

There is a lot of exciting change happening with Foodpack flavours over the next few weeks.

 

Two new flavours that arrived in stock last week are the Summer Berries shake which is a mix of Strawberry, Raspberry and Blueberry flavours.  Plus the Cream of Onion Soup which is a very delicate creamy onion taste.

But Goodbye to Some Old Favourites

 

It's not possible to just keep adding to the number of flavours  - I'd need to build an extension to the office to have room for them all!  So, over the next few weeks the following foodpack flavours will be ending:

 

Mushroom Soup

 

Pea and Ham Soup

 

Apple and Cinnamon Porridge

 

These will no longer be available once my current stocks have been sold.

 

 

Why I Love This Job....

 

This month I'm going to pick the client who thought her only option for weight loss was gastric band surgery - a route she was very fearful of taking because it involved invasive surgery, a very high cost and worrying statistics on permanent health damage as a result.

 

She came to me without a great deal of hope of LighterLife Total working for her, infact she didn't cancel her appointment for the surgery, however, she is now 8 stones lighter, feels so much happier and optimistic about her ability to keep it off thanks to the counselling and when she received confirmation this week of her gastric band surgery was delighted to be able to ring up the Consultant and cancel the appointment as it was no longer necessary!

Healthy News and Advice

 

One of the best forms of protein for all round health is fish!

Swedish researchers discovered regularly feeding children with fish could help reduce the risk of sneezing or developing asthma.

Danish scientists found a diet rich in oily fish - such as salmon, tuna or mackerel - could help prevent heart disease in young women, and, American experts say eating baked or grilled fish between one and four times a week can boost brain cells helping to ward off Alzheimer's disease.

So fish is a family-friendly superfood!

Here in the UK, the NHS advice is for us all to be eating at least two portions of fish every week, with at least one of oily fish.  

 

 
MYTH VS FACT

 

MYTH:  The LighterLife Programme used to only be 100 days long.

  

FACT:  No it didn't!
 
The original design of the LighterLife Programme was in three stages.  There was an initial 100 days Foundation course, then if you still had weight to lose you transferred to the Developers course and once you had reached your healthy BMI of between 20 and 25 you completed the Programme by following the 12 week Route to Management course.  Only once you had completed all three sections, consecutively, had you finished the entire Programme.
 
Now it is far simpler.  The group you join on day one you stay with until you have reached your healthy BMI and only then do you transfer to the Management Stages to complete the Programme.

Welcome to your May 2012 Newsletter

 

Hi everyone, lots of exciting stuff to report on this month:

 

We have got some great new foodpack flavours, plus more to come, although this will mean saying goodbye to some of the existing ones.  See more on this below.

 

Plus, another celebrity has had weight loss success with us; see Bonnie Tyler's story below as reported in the Daily Mail and the South Wales Echo.

 

Also, I mentioned last month about wanting to set up a day time group.  Several ladies are interested in this but I still need those medical approval forms back to be able to register them and reach the minimum number of 7 in order to start it.  If this is of interest to you, then book onto an Initial Consultation on a Wednesday at either 3.30pm or 7.15pm and I will be able to get this group up and running.

 

And finally, slight change to the Success Story section this month as we have had so many clients in the national press over the last month with their great weight losses that I though I'd use this section to show you several success stories rather than just one.
