MORE PRICE FLEXIBILITY FOR CLIENTS | |
From Monday 9th January, LighterLife are giving their clients more flexibility in how much they pay for their Programme.
Instead of one fixed price for each week (£72 for Total and £54 for Lite), the pricing is now broken down into individually priced foodpacks plus a weekly group fee.
For those clients in a Group (either Total, Lite or Phase One Management) there is a weekly group fee of £15.00 payable weekly, plus your choice of either 28 foodpacks (for Total) or 21 foodpacks (for Lite) at the following prices:
Soups £1.80
Shakes £2.05
"Meals" i.e Shepherds Pie, Chilli or Porridge £2.10
Bars £2.15
This will make the Total Programme available from £65.40 per week and the Lite Programme from £52.80.
Foodpacks relevant to your Programme plus the weekly fee must be purchased every week with no missed weeks.

FREE REGISTRATION FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS FROM 2ND JAN TO 31ST MARCH | | | |
A special New Year offer for all new clients is Free Registration (normally £15) on their first group night with LighterLife, either the Total or the Lite Programme.
To take advantage of this special offer you must join a group between the 2nd January and the 31st March 2012, after which the registration fee will revert to £15 payable on your first night. |

CHANGES FOR LIFE MEMBERS
Life Members (i.e. those who have reached a healthy BMI on either Lite or Total and have completed the full set of Route to Managment or Phase One Management weeks) also have their own flexible price list for foodpacks, as follows:
Soups £2.30
Shakes £2.55
"Meals" £2.60
Bars £2.65
There is no weekly fee to pay, therefore, a full weeks worth of 28 foodpacks starts at £64.40.
Life Members can still benefit from one free counselling session per month (i.e. one where you don't purchase foodpacks), but all others in the month will be charged at £15 per session. However, should you purchase 7 or more foodpacks there is no session charge.
Free sessions cannot be "banked", i.e. if you don't take advantage of a free session in January, you can't roll it over to February and have two free sessions in February.
Pop ins just to be weighed are still free of charge.

MYTH VERSUS FACT | |
MYTH: LighterLife is a "fad" diet and unhealthy.
FACT: LighterLife is a medically monitored and approved set of Programmes that are regulated by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence.
No-one can join the Total Programme until they have had medical approval to do so. In some cases, medical approval is also required to join the Lite Programme.
Each day, clients receive 100% of the nutrition their body requires either from foodpacks (Total) or part foodpacks and part food (Lite).
A number of prestigious medical experts form a medical committee that regularly review the Programmes and give guidance to LighterLife.
It can't be much further away from an unhealthy fad diet! | |

Meet Kath. Kath joined LighterLife Loughborough on 2nd June 2011 at a BMI of 36.2. Now 30 weeks later she is a healthy BMI 25.2. A fantastic weight loss of nearly 5 stones.
This is why Kath decided to tackle her weight problem, in her own words:
"I had been gaining weight ever since I turned 40. I joined many different slimming clubs but always ended up putting the weight back plus a little extra at every attempt, I was also a smoker. In October 2010 I was told that I had a mild form of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and needed 3 types of inhalers twice a day as I was struggling to breath.
Like any habit it wasn't easy, it was one of the hardest things I have ever done, and I managed to put an extra 3 stone on to a body that was already 2 stone overweight. I decided to join LighterLife in June 2011 when I realized that I could not even reach over to scratch my back or cross my legs. I needed to do some thing that would give me a quick result as I don't do SLOW SLIMMING!! I joined LighterLife in Loughborough with Debbie Ford on 2nd June and was very pleased with the support that I received both from Debbie and everyone in my group. The weekly sessions are a joy to attend and I always looked forward to going to them.
I have lost 5 stone, I've learned a lot and I have a healthier relationship with food which will help me to maintain my new healthier slimmer figure. I am so happy that I made the decision to change the way I looked. I now know that a balanced relationship with food is all about choices and the choices I make in the future will determine if the weight stays off, or goes back on! I no longer need the inhalers and I can now reach over to scratch my back and cross my legs with ease.

HEALTHY NEWS
The value of good quality sleep is as essential as a healthy diet and exercise.
- Not all of us need eight hours sleep a night; work out the level of rest you need.
- Go to bed at the same time each night - this will programme your body for sleep.
- Invest in a good bed.
- Give yourself space - buy the biggest bed your room can accommodate.
- Physical and mental exercise during the day will help you to sleep better at night.
- Ease down your evenings. A relaxed body and mind prepares you for sleep. Too much stimulation before bed - from alcohol, nicotine, caffeine or activity, can stop you sleeping.
- Darkness, quiet and the ideal temperature help you to fall asleep and stay asleep.
