We’d like to talk with you about a serious matter, something that we at GAMBLE HOME SERVICES feel very passionate about.
Oftentimes, brought on by no fault of the victim, life-altering events shake a family to its very core.
Frustration sets in as onlookers watch - helpless and heartbroken. Blame, guilt and fear set in
as the victims fight to get their lives back in order – back on track. Deep inside they’re terrified things
won’t be what they once were. Whether the outcome is positive or negative, the fight’s still the same:
arduous, intense and tiresome.
We’ve all been aquainted, some of us intimately so, with these individuals: the Cancer Warriors.
Whether you’ve dealt with it first-hand as a patient, been the loving and supporting caregiver,
or have watched from a distance, you know that cancer can be utterly devastating. It can strip a
family emotionally and financially. Cancer doesn’t care who it strikes. It could attack anyone at
anytime. Any cancer survivor will attest to this.
But there IS hope brought about by people who care. The smallest amount of encouragement can lift spirits,
boost morale and give them the strength to keep fighting.
This is why GAMBLE HOME SERVICES has partnered with
Cleaning for a Reason
for the past 3 years. Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit
organization who partners with cleaning service companies to provide housekeeping to women
fighting and living with cancer across the United States and Canada. We firmly believe we can help them make a difference!

We believe that Cleaning for a Reason
does more than provide "cleaning services".
Cleaning for a Reason says that’s what they do, but to the woman
and her family during their time of war against this debilitating
disease, these "cleaning services" translate into caring and support services. They speak volumes of
encouragement for recovery and strength, while they give comfort and help promote quality of life.
Imagine the relief of the woman who wants to provide for her family but can’t because chemotherapy and/or
radiation has zapped her of so much strength that just getting dressed is almost too much to bear. Imagine the
liberation of the caregivers who now have less to worry about and more time to dedicate to their warrior.
You can help us give them that relief, that liberation, the lifting of spirit. We can all let them know that we
support their courage and wish them well.
