welcomeA Message from our General Manager

How do we cope?

Once again our community has been impacted by severe flooding. We cannot believe the devastation we see around us. Homes and businesses destroyed.

All of us know at least one person that has been touched by this disaster.

How do we cope? My good friend, Rich Maynard from WBNG, who lost his home in the flood said, " We're made of tough stock here in the Southern Tier of New York, and we will re-build and we will survive this."

Through hard work, friends and family we will be the foundation to make Broome County and Tioga County shine again.

Traditions at the Glen will be hosting a benefit for flood victims on Tuesday, October 18th in our Traditions Ballroom starting at 6:00pm. Our pizza and wine theme will hopefully be a huge success in raising funds for those affected by the floods.

To all of our friends, BELIEVE AND DO NOT GIVE UP!

"Where there is no struggle, there is no strength", a quote from Oprah Winfrey.

Be safe.

Salt Sanctuary is OPEN and taking appointments.  Take advantage of our Introductory Special of 50% off your first appointment running now through October 8, 2011.

Our opening comes at a time of great tragedy in the Southern Tier.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the flooding.  The Press & Sun Bulletin has warned of "Health Risks Everywhere After Flooding."

In particular, airborne contaminants, mold and general poor air quality are sure to instigate respiratory problems and sickness.  That said, the introduction of Halotherapy to the area is well timed.  This natural treatment helps clear the airways, sooth respiratory linings and kill infections of the ears and sinuses. It has also shown to help speed up recovery from and help prevent cold and flu.

We hope our Introductory discount will make natural relief at Salt Sanctuary affordable to those suffering.

hotelHotel Happenings

Our hotel is very busy with a great deal of traffic from companies here to help flood victims.

We apologize for any recent issues with our telephone system. Due to the flood and a power outage, our previous telephone system was destroyed. We are working as quickly as possible to install a new system. Please be patient as it will take time to have the system fully functional.

The direct line for the Front Desk is now functioning properly with prompts for the Spa and Salt Sanctuary, as well as an extension to reach the Golf Pro Shop.

Our #1 Preferred Guest for the month of month of August is Michael Armiak with DTE Energy. Thank you Michael for your patronage.

Have you become a Preferred Traditions Member yet? Be sure to sign up on your next visit. Ask our Front Desk Associates for details.

villageHomestead Village at the Glen

Our Homestead Village Townhouse community has seen their hillside homes turned into lakefront property.  While our residents stayed high and dry, many others in our community suffered tremendously from the flood waters.  We thank the townhouse residents for allowing access to the hotel guests and Fairmont Park residents during this time of crisis.
