February 2010 |

A belated Happy New Year to those of you whom I have not yet had the opportunity to greet personally this year. I trust that your year has started off awesomely, and that you are well on your way to living your dreams in 2010!
We began this year with a highly spirited and artfully re-formatted Power Session in Troy, co-facilitated by Dan Leask and Nancy Mathias. The meeting was designed to support our overall chapter theme for the year. Thanks to Dan and Nancy for their hard work in making the January Power Session a huge success! Those of us who attended the ICF Conference in Orlando, Florida were blessed to hear Peter Block speak on his book "Community - The Structure of Belonging." We, the members of the PCAM Board have decided that "Community" will be the focus of our efforts in PCAM this year. The intent will be to lead from the perspective espoused by Block, which invites us to seek transformation of our community and organizations. We will do this by having the appropriate group conversation necessary to drive change in the organization. We'll be focusing on identifying and utilizing the gifts of all members of PCAM; and we will be certain to ask the right questions of ourselves to evoke a choice for individual accountability and commitment.
I invite all PCAM members to read "Community" to better appreciate the perspective from which we plan to lead, and hold us accountable to lead in this fashion. Similarly, we invite each of you to identify which of your gifts you will commit to investing in PCAM this year in support of our overall community. The PCAM Board is scheduled to meet on February 18, and I look forward to sharing our goals and objectives for 2010 with you in the March newsletter. Let's make it a great year!
Best regards,
Milt
Milton Eric Fletcher 2010 PCAM President
