Speaker
Craig Miller,
Division Director of Operations for the HSHS Medical Group Craig spoke about the Medical Group, which was formed in 2008 and hired its first provider in 2009. Now the group has over 200 providers and 700 employees, with 4 total locations. The MacArthur Priority Care was used as a model for the three new locations. The goal of the new group is to remove the administrative tasks from physicians to free them to care for patients. The MacArthur facility is open 9am to 8pm, seven days and week, and the group of mostly primary care physicians serves 120-140 patients a day. There are plans for additional landscaping at the MacArthur Priority Care.
