Missed the meeting?
Here's the scoop!
There were several new members, as well as
long-time members who were attending a meeting for the first time, since this
was our first membership meeting held at Dublin Pub over the lunch hour. We
hope that alternating between morning and lunch meetings makes it easier for
more people to participate.

Local Government Update
County board member
Jen Dillman shared information about a City of Springfield proposal to annex a portion of
the south end of MacArthur, which would include some of the existing payday
loan stores. She stated that she is holding off on pursuing the payday loan
ordinance at the county level, since the existing city ordinance would apply if
the annexation takes place.
