International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination - Resource

March 21 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. PSI encourages you to organize an activity or event to raise awareness about racism and challenge racial stereotypes.

World Report on the Culture of Peace

Peace_Centennial2010 marks the last year of the United Nations International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World (2001-2010). The Global Campaign for Peace Education (GCPE) is collecting information from organizations from around the world on their peace education activities over the course of the decade.

Hope for the Futureis an inspirational feature length documentary that records the life-changing journey of thirty-two students from across Canada and their teachers to Belgrade, Serbia. Armed with video cameras, these young people travel to the Balkans seeking that elusive goal, "To make the world a better place." Inspired by the work of Hetty van Gurp, founder of Peaceful Schools International, these "Students for Teaching Peace" embark on a mission to doing something special in the lives of others.
