Building Blocks of Peace - Free Resources!

The Institute for Economics and Peace in Australia, has made available 'The Building Blocks of Peace' - a series of downloadable teaching materials that offer a fresh perspective to the issues surrounding global peace.  Available as separate modules or a combined curriculum, these comprehensive teaching aids will guide students to understand global peace and discover solutions to violence and conflict.
The Building Blocks of Peace offer:
- Four free peace education module designed for 14 to 16 year-olds

- Comprehensive curriculum guides, complete with  teacher notes, student handouts, assessment suggestions and extension activities

 Keeping our Children Safe:
the 'Whole Village' Approach

Are you tired of hearing about the problem of bullying? Looking for realistic solutions? PSI's series of 'Sam' books offers practical ideas to help you teach your children / students learn strategic communication techniques to de-escalate problem situations and deal with verbal abuse and unfair treatment in a respectful and assertive manner.
