 A Great Christmas

It was a great Christmas for the kids.  The gifts included everything from Gameboys and guitars to doll houses and bicycles.  They also enjoyed a big Christmas dinner donated by one of our supporters.

There were gifts for the staff too.  The men received watches and the ladies received gift bags with lotions and creams.  They all received a cash bonus for all their hard work this year.

The kids at Subic Bay Children's Home live better than the average kid in the Philippines.  Their Christmas this year was certainly better.  The Bible says in Psalm 68:5 that God is "A father to the fatherless."  It's better to have God than to have parents.

Not only do they live better than the average Filipino but they are blessed to receive Bible teaching every day.  Very few Filipinos have this blessed opportunity.

One Million Homeless

The Philippines has over one million homeless children living on the streets.  This is one of many videos I found about them.
