Biographies of the kids will continue next week.

                  20 Ton Virtual Rice Drive

This is 20 bags of rice at 50 kilos (110 Pounds) each that the children's home just purchased.  It's enough to last 15 to 20 days.

I am working on the "Online Rice Store" now.  Hopefully I will have it up in the next day or two along with the flyers, posters and letter samples.

          258 Chickens in the Freezer

Another 250 chickens are left alive.  They will be put in the freezer this week.  The kids help in the slaughtering process and all of them tell me they really enjoy it.  I ask, "Are you kidding"?  They tell me, "No sir, it's fun."

Brother Teddy made a make shift slaughter house modeled after one on the internet.  The chickens are placed upside down in what looks like a funnel and then their throats are cut.  Because they are upside down with their head sticking out of the bottom of the contraption they don't struggle or resist.

After they are dead the are dipped in hot water heated to a certain temperature then put in a defeathering machine which defeathers them in seconds.

They are then cut up and put on trays then go to the freezer.  Was that too much information?

NEW!  November BIRTHDAYS!

 Top Right
                      Tract Distribution

The kids went to the towns and villages to pass a portion of 50,000 gospel tracts someone donated to the children's home.

The response was very good.  Brother Rodrigo said they received several texts encouraging them to keep doing what they are doing and some promised to be in church this coming Sunday.

Giving out tracts in the Philippines is a blessing.  I've never had anyone turn one down unlike here in the states.
