The Sad Past of Our Three Newest Boys
Three new boys ages one, three, and six were brought into the home yesterday. The two older boys were taken to the doctor and the one year old was taken to the hospital and admitted because he was so malnourished that he couldn't stand or walk. He also had vomiting and diarrhea.
His conditioned has worsened while being in the hospital maybe due to the enclosed room with no fan or air conditioning. He also shares a bed with another small child.
The father of the boys left his family for another woman. Their mother was forced to work in the market for $1.50 a day. She is also eight months pregnant.
The children were picked up at their home where the heavy rains had soaked all their clothing even the clothes they were wearing. Our worker asked their aunt who owned a small store for assistance. She replied that she wasn't going to help and didn't care if the children starved.
We plan to move the boy to another hospital tomorrow. The care he is receiving now is very minimal and the mother cries often over the condition of her son. Someone has sent over a small amount of money to feed the mother while she is taking care of her son in the hospital.
Help is needed NOW. Donations for the medical care of this little boy can be sent through PayPal by credit, debit, or PayPal. Or you can mail it to the address below.

The Kids Enjoyed Their Chocolate Milk....
Today someone donated $90 for the kids to have "Hamburgers and Fries" this Friday for "Family Night" at the children's home.
I want to start a program where we have at least 14 volunteers who can donate $45 once every three months so the kids can have something special once a week for their Family Night. Some of the ideas were:
1. Pizza
2. Burgers and Fries
3. Ice Cream
4. BBQ Chicken and Potato Salad
5. Fresh Chocolate Milk and Cookies
6. Chip and Dip - Cokes
If you send the money you decide what the kids eat for that night. I know there are a lot of good ideas out there!

Blessed is he that considereth the poor...
Ps. 41:1-3
- Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
- The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
- The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
5 Promises 1. He will deliver a man who considers the poor. 2. He will preserve this man and keep him alive. 3. He will bless him and not deliver him to his enemies. 4. He will take care of him when he is sick. 5. He will help him to endure the sickness physically.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...
says an email to me from Teresa Forrester. She says, "Already 18 children are signed up for on the list! I'm am so excited, as you can tell."
She has made some requests on the "Forum" also. She says,
"The children's "wants" lists have been passed out to different churches in different areas. In between now and the end of July, we will see what becomes of it. What is needed now is funds to mail these items to the Phillipines. If someone would like to take on that task, you would have some time to start collecting funds. Let's all pray for God's people to open their hearts and wallets for these special children."
"We have started collecting items! If anyone has a guitar or Gameboy (even used) and would be willing to donate it, it would be greatly appreciated. I think those might me the hardest items to aquire. Continue to pray that God's people are willing to allow Him to use them!"
