The word Imagineering is a marriage of the words imagination and engineering. We not only dream big but we build those dreams as well.

Approach every day of your life with a new perspective. Don't just think outside the box - throw away the box!
One doesn't need to be an artist to create visions - one just needs to have ideas and to know that to get them created, they must be put in a form  that stimulates and motivates those who are looking for a vision to follow.

Strong fundamental ideas are not necessarily bulletproof; they may not resurface or endure on their own strength and merits. They are often so simple that they are difficult to articulate. Your gut tells you it's strong - not so much your logic.

I cannot recall a time when creativity had such a critical role to play in turning the tide in organizations. 
 
Yet so many exhausted leaders are heading full tilt toward a wall without the time or the energy to produce a creative thought.
 
By happy coincidence I discovered Imagineering on a Disney vacation this summer.
 
It illustrates so well the fine balance between creating dreams and building them. More importantly it underscores the necessity to make room for both in our lives and in our work.
