Tim Steffen Brings 'Sounds of Worship' to 'The Voice' Recent ownership changes of WNUY have left many wondering in the Wells County community and in the Greater Fort Wayne market about the fate of the long standing 'Sounds of Worship' program which aired every Sunday morning on 100.1 from 6 am to noon. While the 'Sounds of Worship' may have been missing from loyal listener's routine for the last several weeks, that void won't last much longer. Tim Steffen, the host of the "Sounds of Worship" since 2004, and The Voice Enterprises (home of Wellscountyvoice.com, Allencountyvoice.com and Adamscountyvoice.com) have agreed to partner together to bring "Sounds of Worship" back to Wells County and NE Indiana. The target launch date for "Sounds of Worship is the Sunday prior to Labor Day, September 4th. Starting then, listeners can find Tim and the "Sounds of Worship" by going to any of The Voice Enterprises websites (Wellscountyvoice.com, Allencountyvoice.com and Adamscountyvoice.com) and clicking on the "Sounds of Worship" logo. Every Sunday the same "Sounds of Worship" can be found from 6 am to noon and will then be followed by a continuous stream of Southern Gospel music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, called "Voices of Worship". |

Smitley Shares Lessons Learned at GSB-Madison Greg Smitley, President and CEO of MarkleBank, Markle, Indiana, was recently invited to teach a senior-year course at the Graduate School Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Smitley joined two other bankers-Mike Jacobson of Nebraskaland National Bank, North Platte, Neb., and Jeff Voss, J.M. Voss and Associates, Frankfort, Ill. - to teach an all-new course, Leadership Lessons Learned: Forward to Execution. These distinguished CEOs or former CEOs from diverse asset size and diverse markets shared their stories of how well their respective banks weathered the industry storms and the leadership lessons each of them had personally learned or applied as best practices. This course was appropriate to GSB's mission of educating professionals and creating leaders in the banking industry, said section leader and long time GSB faculty member Terry Saber, partner, Wipfli, LLP, Minneapolis, who developed the course as part of the senior class leadership curriculum. Based on student comments, the class was extremely well received; one student described it as the best course of his GSB experience. "These CEO's hit a home run with the students," said Saber. Their leadership lessons were poignant, clear and loaded with recommendations for the students to use in their respective leadership roles going forward. Most importantly, they were 'real'."

2013 International Buyer Program Application
Period Now Open!
The Commercial Service is now accepting applications for the International Buyer Program for trade events taking place between January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. The International Buyer Program was established to bring international buyers together with U.S. firms by promoting leading U.S. trade shows in industries with high export potential. The International Buyer Program emphasizes cooperation between the DOC and trade show organizers to benefit U.S. firms exhibiting at selected events and provides practical, hands-on assistance such as export counseling and market analysis to U.S. companies interested in exporting. The assistance provided to show organizers includes worldwide overseas promotion of selected shows to potential international buyers, end-users, representatives and distributors. The worldwide promotion is executed through the offices of the DOC U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service (hereinafter referred to as the Commercial Service) in more than 76 countries representing the United States' major trading partners, and also in U.S. Embassies in countries where the Commercial Service does not maintain offices.
Details regarding the application, eligibility, participation requirements, and selection process are available on http://www.export.gov/IBP or you may contact the IBP at 2013IBP@trade.gov for an application package. The deadline for applying to the International Buyer Program for 2013 events is Monday, October 31, 2011.
To be considered for the 2013 IBP, applicants need only submit a completed application form by October 31, 2011. There is no fee to apply. However, a participation fee will be required if accepted into the program. The IBP expects to issue the results of this process by April 2012.
Should the applicant be accepted into the program, a signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) along with applicable program fee will be required within 45 days of the written notification of acceptance into the 2013 IBP. A sample MOA is available for reference purposes only. The MOA outlines the terms of participation that accepted applicants must commit to if accepted into the program. The Federal Register Notice sets forth objectives, procedures and application review criteria associated with support for domestic trade shows by the IBP.
