The Prime minister today launched Building Britian's Future - which outlines the government's plan for building a 'fairer, stronger and more prosperous society'.

Foreign Secretary, David Milibrand, welcomed the initiatve explaing that is sets out our 'multilateralist foreign policy' to meet the global challenges 'head-on'.

Immigration Update

Department of homeland security suspends widow's penalty

The Obama administration took another step toward restoring fairness and humaneness to the immigration process on June 16, 2009. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitno announced she would grant a two year reprieve to immigrants who were married to US citizens but did not complete the permanent residency process because their American spouses died curing the application process.
