Greetings!
My wife and I are going to attend the Pomona State Fair this month. We'll start out at the racetrack (70-200 mm lens required) to shoot the winning horse as it passes the finish line. Then, we'll go get a beer (or margarita) or watch the horse's parade in the saddle-up area before the next race. After the races, the fairgrounds are 'fair' game!
This is an unofficial invite for you all to meet us at the fair for some great photo opportunities. For those interested, please get in touch with me for the date. It's a long day, so bring a backpack.
Also, keep watching your email for) upcoming safaris: they're on the way! The last one, at Trump golf course beach, was amazing (see Safaris Section).
Happy shooting!
Cheers, Bob Young PPLAC President

This Month's Photog Tip
| |
Ever been in a situation when you needed a tripod, but you forgot to pack it? I learned a long time ago that a simple, but effective tool can come to your rescue and work as a tripod: a bean bag. Keep one in your trunk for emergencies.
