Happy 4th of July! Get out your cameras and make some fireworks!
Some fortunate photographers attended West Coast School last month, and it is my hope that you all came away with some knowledge that is going to shoot (pun intended) your business to the next level. I also urge everyone to attend the upcoming PPC convention in August in Pasadena, where some more dynamite speakers will strut their stuff.
Some of you have missed some great meetings with PPLAC, and the rest of the year is starting to shape up big time so mark your calendars. If you come away with just one piece of information that makes your work shine, it will be well worth your while. The amazing Scott Robert Lim headlines July.
We welcome PPLAC board members home from trips abroad: Chuck Behrman Havana, Cuba; Marcia Gold in Northern Italy; and Sharon Lobel on safari in South Africa-- so look for stunning images from them real soon.

On a sad note, our sincere condolences to former PPLAC Board Member and PPC Business & Arts Degree Chair Karen Nakamura and her husband, Greg, in the recent passing of his father.
