Greetings!
Spring is in the air! (It's been in the air since last November, or it seems that way). That's the beauty of living in So Cal: just step outside; your studio awaits you.
As I previously mentioned, PPLAC now offers photo safaris-- but you need to send me an e-mail to get notifications, as we are working to cut the number of messages you get from us. Due to cold, windy weather, most of the participants opted out at the last minute for the photo safari I led to the Santa Monica bluffs recently-- but the images that Chuck (the other brave soul) and I got are outstanding, plus the pint of ale we had after the shoot was well received.
If you haven't updated your small bio and PHOTO on our "Find a Photographer" list, you are missing out on potential jobs-- so go and do it now.
One last thing: if you're not attending our monthly meetings, you're missing out on great education that you paid for, so mark your calendars for the 4th Thursday of the month (Now, that's easy to remember even after a pint!) or check the schedule on the PPLAC website. See you soon!
Cheers, Bob Young PPLAC President

Ed wowed the crowd at last month's meeting with images he's taken from snapshot to stardom through his impressive photoshop techniques and imagination. Ed's before and after image projection illustrated how he transforms his images into fine art. Check out Ed's work at his Chinatown gallery in Los Angeles and on his website, www.edfreeman.com.
