Greetings!
Wait - don't tell me - It's October already?? Time to get ready for the holiday rush of portrait clients who want their images back on a short turnaround, take forever to make a decision on their holiday cards and want them printed at the last minute (sound familiar?). Well - I would submit that this is a nice problem to have, and I hope that you are suffering with the same "problems" in your studio with lots of Clients asking for lots of "stuff".
If you're not there yet with your business volume, then perhaps you could benefit by participating in this month's PPLAC Digital Photographic Competition. We've gone all digital this year so your net cost to participate is lower. You'll get great feedback from our wonderful judges to help improve your artistry, plus an opportunity to win awards for your studio - what could be better? Please join us for Digital Photographic Competition at our October meeting. If you're not a member yet, but just interested in seeing what Image Competition is all about, stop by our October meeting - guests are free this evening, but you must be a member to submit your images. Hope to see you there! Regards, Jim Brammer PPLAC President |

September Meeting Recap:
It's a DAM (Digital Asset Management) shame if you missed September's General Meeting. Award-winning photographer and CIPPA President Dan Holmes took digital cataloging, filing hierarchies, metadata, and back-up to a whole new level-- giving us the push we need to organize and ultimately streamline our workflow. Not only that, he dazzled us with his amazing reflection landscape images. Thanks, Dan!

PPLAC Board Member, Bob Young, demonstrates the Spider Holster at the August meeting.
Whoever said Board Member Bob Young's performing days are over? At our last meeting, Bob demonstrated how the working photographer can have both hands free-- thanks to the Spider Holster-- to perform tasks while on the job. No worries that your expensive camera will fall from your shoulder! Our fast and furious live auction for the Spider Holster left one of our new members with the high bid. Make sure you don't miss our upcoming meeting as we'll silent auction off yet another one of these valuable gadgets, thanks to PPLAC sponsor Spider Holster.
