Greetings! Please don't shoot the messenger, but we're well into the fourth quarter and the holiday season is fast approaching. Portrait photographers are preparing for a busy holiday season and getting ready for the onslaught of clients with last minute requests for family portraits and holiday cards. Those of you who are not portrait photographers are likely looking for ways to drive more clients into your studio.
To enjoy a successful year end and succeed in our highly competitive industry, you need to be "all in". You must find ways to set yourself apart from the competition by leveraging your strengths and shoring up your weaknesses. That's where your PPLAC membership comes in. Our workshops, seminars, monthly speaker series, and print competitions are all designed with one thing in mind: making you and your business more competitive. Where else can you receive cutting-edge education and information, re-charge your creative juices, network with other photographers, and pick the brains of instructors - all at the same event?
Not a PPLAC Member yet? Please consider this your personal invitation to check us out by attending PPLAC's November meeting featuring Eddie Tapp for some world-class education. I promise that you will not be disappointed.
Regards, Jim Brammer PPLAC President

Award-winning photographer Ramiro Gaytan lit up the crowd at his amazing lighting and flash photography workshop last month. His hands-on approach to learning-- including posing techniques plus time for students to shoot models-- gave all who attended a chance to practice their newly learned skills. Thanks to Ramiro for an inspiring event.
