General Meeting: GIL GARCETTI
Thursday, September 23rd

You may know him as the former Los Angeles County District Attorney, but Gil Garcetti (www.garcetti.com) has spent much of his life as an urban photographer.
His first photo book, IRON: ERECTING THE WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL, November 2002, received critical praise in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and other publications. The photographs emphasize the contribution of the ironworkers to the building of America as well as the beauty of the curved, angled, and bent steel of this building. Gil will be selling his new book at our meeting!

Please bring your camera and laptop. If you don't have Lightroom on your laptop, please go to the Adobe website and install a free trial version.Bob will start the day with a small shoot to get some images other than your own (either indoors or out).Bob will cover:
Setting up a new catalogue
Importing images into LR
Adding keywords
Organization
Establishing a workflow
Rating your images
Image management
Editing, non-destructive image processing
Delivery of images
Time permitting, we will shoot tethered
