Greetings!
Ready or not, here comes summer! This is a very busy time for many photographers, and I hope your studio is no exception. Having spent the last several months gearing up my marketing programs and studio infrastructure, I'm looking forward to West Coast School, which runs from June 20 to 25 in San Diego. For me, it's always time well spent, a place to become inspired artistically while enhancing my technical foundation and coming away with great ideas to take my photography to the next level. I hope to see you there!

Congratulations to PPLAC Board Members Sharon Lobel and Jim Akers for their award-winning photos in May's Santa Clarita Valley Photography Organization. 125 photos were entered. Sharon merited in Landscape and Macro/close-up. Jim received first place in the Nature category, third place in the Animal category and a merit in another Animal photo. Kudos also two NEW PPLAC members who also racked up awards at the contest. April Bielefeldt received "Judge's Choice" Best in Show. Mel Carll took 2nd place in the Macro & Close-up Category.
