The official American Cancer Society "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk is right around the corner.  Join SDIW to honor breast cancer survivors and remember people we have lost in an inspirational event on Sunday, October 16, 2011 in our own beautiful Balboa Park.   

This 4-mile walk will provide you with an opportunity to save lives by raising funds to find cures and support programs and services for those who face this terrible disease.  It's simple, every dollar you raise and every step you take will help save lives!

Since 1993, nearly six million walkers across the United States have raised more than $400 million to help fight breast cancer through "Making Strides" events.  This year, we will aim even higher.  The best part is that there is no cost to join and support this years event!   

All we ask is that you sign up and raise money to help eliminate breast cancer for the future and each dollar raised is helping the American Cancer Society continue to save lives in our community and around the globe.
