The statistics don't lie. Most of the world comes to Christ between the ages of 4 and 14.
Yet, that same age group is the most ignored and under-resourced group in developing nations.
Our Children's Gospel Box Ministry (www.cgbox.org) has been tackling this huge need by resourcing and training some 6,000 children's workers over the last decade.
BUT - OUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE is in front of us -1,000 C-G Boxes.
We must get 400 Children's Gospel Boxes (C-G Boxes) to our C-G Box Coordinator in the Philippines and 600 C-G Boxes to Nigeria for a massive children's leaders conference in Lagos. IMMEDIATELY.
WE NEED A MIRACLE to make this happen.
I just received this today from the Philippines and our C-G Box worker there, Della Subio. She also quotes a children's worker in another region. Let these unedited words stir your heart.
"Greetings in the most precious name of our Savior Jesus Christ!
Another training was done this week and it culminates with a C-G Box Rally. TO GOD BE THE GLORY for the positive results.
To be honest, now that the C-G Box Ministry started in Mindanao, I can feel the urgency of the need for the materials. Most churches are now very much enthused and beginning to understand how important evangelism to children is and they are so blessed that FMP is there being used by God. However, churches understand that the materials are still to arrive and they're happy that they were trained already. Though most churches that were already trained already launched their own outreaches. It's ok. God is a God of perfect timing, we can wait patiently. I will try my very best to train workers for now while waiting for the materials and explain to them that it's going to take a little more time."
From a fellow children's worker:
"I never thought that right at the heart of the city there is a community that's still unreached, where there's only one church built and it's newly dedicated. It was the church sponsored by the Koreans called Jesus Christ Discipleship Church and they allowed us to use it as a venue for the Children's Gospel Box Rally which is located in the interior in the middle of the slum or squatters. We needed to cross a hanging bridge made out of bamboo to reach the place. When we got there we really witnessed how unruly and undisciplined the children were and thank God the Pastor sent off his youth to join our training. Plus, the church will be affiliating with the Foursquare Church so we can help them reach out to these children. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!"
"Right now, I am busy again preparing for another training this coming Saturday. Pastor Boholst asked me to slow down, but I can't help it. Churches are inviting me because it's a need. I just trust God for His sustaining grace."
