"Going global" is a popular phrase these days. The emergence of our electronic capabilities has made the world seem much smaller.
Here at Foursquare Missions Press, we utilize various multimedia tools to supplement our printed resources.
In fact, I'm putting together a creative team to brainstorm how we can most effectively send Gospel resources globally via electronic outlets. (Love to get your input!) However, not all global activity is based upon computers or cell phones. Communication in many countries is still dependent upon the spoken word and the printed page.
I was reminded of this from a recent report received from Africa. Among the testimonies from our literature and children's resources shipment was the praise report of 300 children coming to Christ! Additionally, workers went into the highways and byways to distribute over 4,000 of our booklets.
One photo (above right) in particular captured the "global" impact of the Gospel - a Brazilian missionary sharing our "Bridging the Gap" booklet, made in America, to a Chinese man working in Angola!
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations..."
Bottom line - whether it is a simple 3¢ tract, or a $175 solar powered audio Bible, our task is to get the right tools into the faithful hands that share the Good News.
