Welcome to the Reggae Marathon newsletter!

Through this medium, we'll be keeping you updated on the 2011 Reggae Marathon - Jamaica's premier international marathon event. Marathoners, sports enthusiasts as well as beginners, converge every first Saturday in Negril, Jamaica's capital of casual, for a fun event characterized by good vibes and lots of Reggae music. Reggae Marathon is rated among the top 10 marathons in the world, and has become the Caribbean's, and one of the world's, best marathon events.

Marathon Event to feature NEW Course for 2011

2011 Marathoners will be running on a New Marathon Course on December 3rd. Reggae Marathoners will be looping the Half Marathon Course.

The new Marathon Course will be IAAF certified and will feature more Reggae Music per mile with MORE spectator and community support along the route!

Register before July 31 and SAVE!

Remember to register early for the race of your choice.

The fee structure for all Reggae Marathon events changes each year on August 1. Up to July 31: Marathon & Half Marathon - US$85.00, 10K - US$60.00; August 1 and after: Marathon and Half Marathon US$95.00, 10K - US$70.00. Click here to register.

Local participants have up to November 26th before the fees change, and can look forward to online registration coming on stream in September 2011.

Reggae Marathon Certificates are FINALLY in the mail to all our 2010 participants! Please forgive the long delay in getting these out to you, our valued participants. Give us a shout out so we can know you received yours o.k.!

Did You Know?

Many children who participate in Reggae Marathon's Grand Prix Road Race Series need good running shoes. Instead of throwing out those good used running shoes, bring them to Reggae Marathon in Negril and drop them in a specially marked box at Registration. We will distribute those shoes to the children taking part in the 2012 Road Race Series.
