AW Series Automated In-Line Vial Cleaning System
Advanced features of the AW300 shown. Click on the image to see a video.  | Cozzoli AW Series air cleaning and washing systems make compliance to regulation both direct and cost-effective. Our goals of increased efficiency, quality and reliability are reflected in the design of every Cozzoli washer. Ease of operation and simple change-over are the key features in the versatility of our washers.
The AW Series washers assure complete and predictable cleaning. The washing area has a transparent lexan cover that provides a complete view of the vials and spray patterns during cleaning. Air/vacuum pre-cleaning helps eliminate adhesion of loose particles. Cozzoli's specially designed universal vial carriers maintain vials in a perpendicular position and eliminate particulate generation that can be caused by bucket-style washers. Container sizes range from 5ml to 500ml, or 10ml to 1000ml, and neck finishes from 13mm to 32mm.
Machine Features
The AW Series Washers are sanitary streamlined, with low profile designs and programmable controller management of all machine logic functions. They use a universal vial carrier, eliminating time-consuming carrier changes. The AW Series uses a PLC to control the wash cycle, and the user can precisely determine wash parameters for each specific container, which allows for WFI savings.
Additional features include speeds up to 500 BPM, nozzle penetration of container, segregated wash stations to prevent cross-contamination, vials held securely upright, low WFI consumption, flexible wash sequence, air-vacuum pre-cleaning, and discharge system that protects against particle re-contamination and more.
