FPS2-SS (stainless steel) Automatic Monoblock Ampule Filling & Sealing Machine
Cozzoli's FPS2-SS machine for filling and sealing ampules features stainless steel construction and is designed with a sealed top cover plate to ensure the internal drive machanism remains free of extraneous matter. Syringes, filling nozzles and liquid contact parts are of 316 stainless steel.

| Machine Features
The FPS2-SS machine is equipped with an unscrambler along with stations for flushing with inert gas before and after filling. It operates with a double index format employing intermittent motion when advancing the ampules. The machine is complete with stainless steel syringes and a variety of filling nozzles. The product is filled under positive head pressure made possible by our exclusive sliding type valve. A drop drawback mechanism eliminates hanging drops at completion of fill cycle. Easy adjustment of the fill volume is accomplished by a simple adjustment of a calibrated sector arm. Volumetric accuracy of fill is +/- 0.5%. Bottom-up filling is provided through the provision of two cams to lower and raise on a 2" of 5" stroke. The conveyor chain accomodates ampules with OD dimensions up to 1" (25.4mm) at full speed. A no ampule/no fill mechanism is a standard feature. A pull-sealing system with preheating and final-heating burners is provided. This machine is known for its simplicity, operational reliability and minimal maintenance.
