News Circling the Square
| Market Day - Two weeks into our third season and the Dedham Farmers Market is off to a great start! With more specialty food vendors added to our already amazing lineup of local farms and vendors, the Dedham Farmers Market has become a regional draw. Visit the market on Wednesdays from 12-6 in the town's permit parking lot, across from CVS.
Good Cause - Dedham
resident John McCarron has organized
a silent auction for sports memorabilia at Mocha Java to
raise money for the Pan-Mass Challenge, the largest fundraiser for The Jimmy
Fund. Swing by,
grab your favorite coffee concoction and place your bid! Speaking of the PMC, Dedham Bike is offering a discount on tune-ups and accessories to riders of the 2010 PMC!
Stop in to see Matt for more details.
Band Demand - "Silly Bandz" have been spotted in the Square! Check out the fun designs available at Maribu and The Blue Bunny! Don't know what Silly Bandz are? Ask any school-aged kid, they'll fill you in!
Lasting Impression - Peter Reynolds, author, illustrator, Blue Bunny proprietor and Chairman of the Dedham Square Circle, recently spent some time at St. Paul's Nursery School to create two magnificent murals. They are part of a recent fundraising effort to fund improvements to the school and student enrichment programs. A nearby plaque will display the names of the families and children who supported this effort, leaving their mark forever in such a special and historical place.
