Welcome Back Scoop Fans! Don't forget - this Tuesday 2/2 at 7 p.m. the town will hold a public hearing on the Dedham Square Improvement Project in the lower conference room at town hall.
Come see what the future has in store for the
Square and learn more about the exciting design plans aimed at making the Square safer for pedestrians and motorists while making aesthetic improvements such as brick-lined sidewalks and gas lamps. These streetscape improvements will help to transform the Square to maximize its

Behind the Scenes

This is the time of year when the Dedham Square Circle is busy mapping
out our plans for the year ahead. Top
on our list are planning community events, the farmers market, merchant
workshops and our Annual Meeting. We will also continue our work with Square property owners and merchants to make physical
improvements to their buildings and storefronts. In addition, plans are in the works to promote the Square regionally to attract
more visitors and we will continue our
collaboration with the Town on a number of initiatives to improve the Square. Stay

Winter Farmers Market - a farmers market in the winter?! Yes, it's true! Starting this Sunday, a weekly market will be held at the new Dedham Square Country Market located in the Odd Fellows building at 626 High Street (next to Nest) in the Square. Featuring several specialty food vendors, including some from the Dedham Farmers Market. and Click here to learn more!
Helping
in Haiti- Discover Music and Art's Suzuki piano and violin teacher Leila Hepp, who is also
a nurse, is in Haiti with Partners in
Health to help with the relief efforts following the recent earthquake. Hats off to Leila for partaking in such an

Books Wanted - The Friends of Dedham Public Library are looking for donated books for their quarterly book sale. Click here to learn more.
Music to My Ears- The Dedham School of Music is offering new spring classes including piano lessons, voice, wind instruments and guitar and also a Music & Movement class for preschoolers and adults. Great for seniors!
Warm Welcome - The Dedham Historical Society has hired a new Executive Director, Vicky Kruckeberg, who started her new position last month. The Dedham Square Circle is currently collaborating with DHS on a historical walking tour of Dedham Square and we look forward to our continued partnership with DHS. Please join us in offering Vicky a warm welcome to Dedham!
