Welcome Back Scoop fans!
It's hip to be Square! Next time you head out to shop or dine please consider this: can you get it in the Square? With the downturn in the economy and increased retail competition, the small independently owned businesses in Dedham Square are feeling the effects. These locally owned businesses in the Square, and throughout Dedham, are the ones who provide the most support for the dozens of community groups and non-profits in town and provide jobs for local residents. They help keep more money in our very own community as locally owned businesses purchase from other local businesses,
service providers, and farms. Put simply, keeping it local is good for our local economy.
From the Scoop Weather Desk....It looks like mostly sunny skies for the rest of the weekend. Get out and enjoy! Many thanks for your continued support. See you in the Square! |
