WITS Graduation/Banquet of 2008 was beautiful.  All 19 graduates reflected on some great memories.  The banquet was amazing as Rabbi and Rebbetzin Torem received the Kesser Shem Tov award, and Dr. Ernie and Susan Greenwald received the Ohavai Torah Parents award.

 Alumni Scholarship-Debbie Rennert Scholarship Fund
Alumni donations for the WITS Calender year (August 1st to July31st) reached $103,000 this week as you can see at www.witsalumni.com.  This includes all forms of alumni giving.  Help us reach our $150,000 goal by August.  A record number of alumni have given contributions this year already. The third yahrtzeit of Debbie Rennert A"H is this upcoming week, on Friday, June 27th, which is the 24th of Sivan.  One special zchus that has been developed for her is the Debbie Rennert scholarship fund, which assists students with financial need who attend WITS. You can give to this cause at the alumni donation page-   http://witsalumni.googlepages.com/home
or e-mail me at alumni@witsyeshiva.com.  We still need $47,000 to reach our goal by July 31, 2008. (the end of the alumni fiscal year)  Thank you again to everyone who has participated this year.  Thank you to Dovid Cheplowitz (Class of 1994) for joining the monthly donation Mach-WITS a shekel club this month.  A monthly drive for the new year will be underway shortly.
