Rochester College accepted into NAIA  
Rochester College recently received notification of acceptance into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Warriors have competed with NAIA and NCAA teams for years, but this membership will provide additional opportunities. To read an Oakland Press announcement about the membership, click here.

Professional development courses added
Six professional development courses for certified classroom teachers have been scheduled by the Rochester College Education Department. Offered in cooperation with the Rochester Community Schools, courses will meet in July and August. For information, a schedule, and registration materials, click here.
Head coach named for men's basketball
Klint Pleasant has been named head coach for men's basketball. Klint, a former assistant coach at Kent State University and head coach at Abilene Christian University, will succeed his father, Garth Pleasant, who recently retired from coaching responsibilites. Teen camp scheduled for early summer
Elevate, Rochester College's annual teen camp program, is scheduled for June 26 through July 2. The program will feature alumni Dion Frasier of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Chris Shields of Naperville, Ill; Jason Stekel of Rochester Hills; and Wayne Beason of Chicago. For information, click here.
