Fall Fundraiser Has Begun!

By now you have most likely perused the catalog of goodies that went home with your children last Friday. Now it's time to ask your friends and families to order their favorite items! Your participation helps us meet our goal of raising $30,000 to put toward the very important PTA-funded programs that we love so much. Remember to turn in the included white slip this week so your child can earn 5 FREE blue slips and a prize!* The fundraiser will continue through October 5th. Happy shopping!

Strandwood Fingerprinting Night

Strandwood is hosting a Fingerprinting Night on October 9th between
4 p.m. and 8 p.m. (The last appointment is at 7:45 p.m.) There are still slots available, so if you still need to be fingerprinted in order to volunteer as a chaperone, now is your chance!
Parents can call the office to sign up. The cost is $32 payable by Cash, Cashier's check (made payable to MDUSD) or Money Order only. You must also bring evidence of a TB test performed within the last 60 days.
Fingerprints remain valid for the duration of your volunteering within our school district. Make your appointment now so you can accompany your child on field trips or work in the classroom!
