| MDUSD Board Meeting Tonight |

Tonight the Mt. Diablo school board will discuss raising the tax rate on its 2010 Measure C bond in the hopes of lowering taxpayer costs in the long run. Restructuring the financing, however, could cause the district to exceed the cap of $60 per $100,000 of assessed value that it promised voters.
The board study session is at 6 p.m. in the district office, 1936 Carlotta Drive in Concord. Trustees will talk about accelerating future bond sales, according to the staff report. The public is welcome to attend.
